I always try to make some experiments with perler beads and suddendly this idea came to my mind.
First of all you need to choose a motive for your lamp.
I use for my motive transparent beads, so that the light goes though them when the lamp is turned on.
After having finished all 4 sides, it is time to start doing the border!
You don’t need to use the same template for each of the sides. It is possible to use different ones.
You have to be careful while doing the border. The side of all parts must have the same height and width.

After finishing the border, you have to place some beads on the side and on the top. In this way it is possible to join the sides without using any kind of glue!
After this step you have to iron all 4 sides and let them cool.
Please be careful while ironing because if you do it with to much force, the sides won’t fit together.
Then, you put all sides together before starting with the top part of the lamp.
The next step is to start making the top part. See the images for this.
